In my last Blog I promised I would share some of the night scenes from Venice, so here they are along with some other memorable moments from my photographic work there. I have so much more to show you from this last journey including some awesome views from the top of the Dolomites, around 10,000 feet high, which felt like being on top of the world. As a favourite photographer of mine who is based ‘Down Under’ said this week ’Life is bananas. Fun and wonderful, but very, very, very hectic’. I agree.
For those who have come looking for Wedding Photography in Cumbria fear not, there is plenty to see if you scroll down to older posts or click on the wedding photography category on the right. October will be a busy month for this Cumbria Wedding Photographer as we have three weddings and two pre wedding shoots to do.

In our Blog you will find Wedding, Portrait, Commercial, Family and some oddball Photography. We have been asked several times to define our style of Wedding photography and of course there is a whole host of words out there to describe photographic styles, photojournalism, reportage, traditional, documentary, fine art and the list goes on. We have come to realise that our (Ruth and I work together) style is based primarily around intimate images. We do all the other schtuff mentioned before but a common theme that runs through our work is 'intimacy'. The wedding is about the couple and the rest of us are there to observe. But ultimately it is about the love that the couple have for each other. That is what we seek to represent in the photographs we produce. You are the best judge of whether we succeed.
