Cumbria Commercial Photographer in Manchester & Ashton

Wednesday, December 21st, 2011

Earlier this year I was contracted to supply a portfolio of commercial photographs for a Lawyers practice based in Manchester and Ashton.  Part of the brief was to capture some images of the local scenes and landmarks that could be used on their new website and printed for use in the offices themselves.  These are just a few of the images we made. You might recognise some of the sights which include the Law Courts, Filing Cabinet, the Wheel and Barton Arcade in Manchester, the Basin and bronze images on the street of Ashton.

Wedding Photographers Cumbria in The Lake District

Friday, December 2nd, 2011

Just returned from two weeks in a remote Scottish Glen and experienced everything that weather can throw at you.  Got locked in the Glen for two days when the Loch flooded out over the road, then the snow came down reminding me how important it is for a wedding photographer to have a 4*4!  Then the cyclone hit and I have never seen such devastation with giant trees broken like matchsticks.  The electric of course went down and stayed down for 4 days.  Have you ever tried showering in freezing cold loch water and then getting into bed when you can see your own breath? A real mini adventure,  but nothing can take away from the pure grandeur of the Scottish Highlands and the enjoyment of local produce.  Cullen Skink is one of my favourites.

Well for this Cumbria Wedding Photographer just one more wedding to shoot this year on 31st December in Kirkby Lonsdale.  That will wrap up a great year where we have got to know so many new friends and enjoyed so many fantastic photoshoots and weddings.  Ed and Sarah get married on that day and we just got back from a recon of the locations.  The Hotel where Sarah is getting ready looks really cool. Should get some great shots.
