It is great fun getting a Family into the Studio with Family Photographers Cumbria. That is exactly what happened with Guy and Kiah and their Mum and Dad, Nyki and Craig, when they visited the Schtuff Photography Studio in Kendal recently.
I don’t think Nyki and Craig had expected to get so involved themselves but when you have all the family members together why not go for it! This was the first time that as Family Photographers Cumbria we had been able to use the outside locations of the Victorian house and farm where our Studio is located. Although it was yet another freezing cold day the family were up for it and we managed to get some photographs before we all turned into blocks of ice. Mum and Dad are quite rightly proud of their Son and Daughter who impressed us greatly with their co-operation and manner.
If you are interested in having a Family portfolio, lifestyle or portrait photography this is the best time to talk to us. We have some great deals to fill the quieter months of February and March before the Wedding season kicks off in earnest again. We have two Wedding Photographers Cumbria Fayres coming up where you can meet us, one at Rheged near Penrith on the 7th March and the other at the Inn On The Lake Ullswater on the 24th March. We have just received three brand new sample Albums showing real weddings so will be taking those with us for the show. If you have come to this blog looking for Wedding photography then please click on this link www.schtuff.com to go to our dedicated Wedding Photography website.

In our Blog you will find Wedding, Portrait, Commercial, Family and some oddball Photography. We have been asked several times to define our style of Wedding photography and of course there is a whole host of words out there to describe photographic styles, photojournalism, reportage, traditional, documentary, fine art and the list goes on. We have come to realise that our (Ruth and I work together) style is based primarily around intimate images. We do all the other schtuff mentioned before but a common theme that runs through our work is 'intimacy'. The wedding is about the couple and the rest of us are there to observe. But ultimately it is about the love that the couple have for each other. That is what we seek to represent in the photographs we produce. You are the best judge of whether we succeed.
