Wedding Albums from Wedding Photographers Lake District

Sunday, February 17th, 2013

This week we delivered an exquisite new Album from Wedding Photographers Lake District to Rob and Nicki and I thought it would be really useful to Blog  photos of it so you can see the quality of Album that our Italian supplier, GraphiStudio, makes.

We recently received a new Swatch book from them which contains samples of every cover, colour, page type and thickness that you can choose from to personalise your own Wedding Album.  Cover materials include Leather, Cowhide, Nappa Leather, Silk, Metal and Crystal Glance (which is the one Rob and Nicki chose).   Along with this we have ordered 3 new sample Albums for you to be able to see when you visit us.

So this week Wedding Photographers Lake District have been at The Stonecross Wedding Fayre in Kendal and in March we have two more Wedding Fayres we are exhibiting at where you can come along and meet up with us, namely the Rheged Centre for a Tantrum and Tiaras Night and later in the month The Inn On The Lake Hotel in Ullswater.

If you would like to keep in closer contact with us and keep up to date with new photographs you could ‘Like’ our news feed page on Facebook where you will find us under Lake District Wedding Photographer aka Schtuff.  Hope to see you there.  Steve

Wedding Photographers Lake District with Michael & Katie

Monday, December 3rd, 2012

For our Wedding Photography please click on this link www.schtuff.com to go to our dedicated Wedding Photography website.

We tell stories, not ‘tall’ ones, but real ones.  Through the images we capture we seek to tell the story, not just of the Couple who are getting married, but also their Mum’s and Dad’s, Brothers and Sisters, Grandparents and close friends.  When Ruth and I go to photograph a wedding we want to capture it all.  Sometimes it is worth re-visiting a story because a story can be told in many different ways.  At certain times of the year, when the capturing of stories to tell begins to quieten then there is time to tell an older story in a different way.  So we wanted to re-tell the story  of Michael and Katie’s wedding but with an emphasis on a more Vintage photography feel including Black & White photographic images.  They have both just chosen the photographs they are going to have in their GraphiStudio Album so that is the next job on my list to do.

If you would like Ruth and I to tell your story then give us a call!

Wedding Photographers Cumbria with Sam & Lorna at Broadoaks Country House Hotel

Friday, September 21st, 2012

In case you haven’t seen Sam and Lorna’s wedding photographs on our dedicated wedding website www.schtuff.com we have re-run them here.  When you are choosing your wedding photographer how do you make up your mind?  With prices ranging from as low as £200 to £5,000 is there any real difference?  Without passing comment on what price to pay or what is reasonable let me just cover what we do for the fee we charge.

Our Wedding package includes a complementary Pre wedding Photoshoot.  We meet with you at an agreed location and typically spend a couple of hours taking both informal and some set up photographs.  There are usually enough from this shoot alone to fill a photobook should you want one. What is included in the package price is a high quality 27″ * 23″ Signature Frame which has set within it a 4″ White Mount Board as well as the print you choose from the Pre Wedding Shoot.  The photographs from the Pre Wedding shoot usually take us about a day to two days to process.  When finished they are posted on a password protected gallery for you to view.  We also send you a Facebook ready photofile if you require one.

On the Wedding day we usually arrive 2 to 3 hours before the Ceremony and we are normally with you for 10 – 12 hours.  In other words we stay much longer than any other supplier you have involved in the day! As you can imagine with such a long day we take hundreds of photographs which then take many hours to process after the wedding day.  We endeavour to have all the photographs finished and on the password protected gallery within two weeks of the Wedding Day.  In total we spend around 60 – 80 hours on each wedding including the taking of photographs and processing of them.

Of course you are the best judge of Are We Worth It?  Our aim is always to surpass your expectations and deliver a substantial choice of Images to Cherish.

Sam & Lorna held their Reception at Broadoaks Country House Hotel, a perfect venue for smaller wedding parties.  This weekend we are at Holbeck Ghyll shooting the Wedding of Mark and Selena so we are keeping our fingers crossed the weather stays as good as it is today!
