In our Blog you will find Wedding, Portrait, Commercial, Family and some oddball Photography. We have been asked several times to define our style of Wedding photography and of course there is a whole host of words out there to describe photographic styles, photojournalism, reportage, traditional, documentary, fine art and the list goes on. We have come to realise that our (Ruth and I work together) style is based primarily around intimate images. We do all the other schtuff mentioned before but a common theme that runs through our work is 'intimacy'. The wedding is about the couple and the rest of us are there to observe. But ultimately it is about the love that the couple have for each other. That is what we seek to represent in the photographs we produce. You are the best judge of whether we succeed.
I just thought before the onslaught of the Summer wedding season I would blog a few photographs of Amy that we produced a few weeks ago. We are going to be very busy from the second week of July onwards and will be photographing weddings at some of the Lake Districts loveliest locations such as Merewood Hotel, Storrs Hotel, Broadoaks Hotel, Inn On The Lake Hotel, Cartmel Racecourse and some a little further afield including Mitton Hall and Leighton Hall, both in Lancashire. We are still receiving enquiries for wedding photography this year and can still fit in one or two dates so please make contact if you need a photographer and we will do our best.
