 Birds Barn Owl Standing Photograph must represent one of the best loved birds in the UK, although sadly under threat through loss of habitat.  I have written elsewhere about being asked to look after a Barn Owl for several months and it was a great joy to get to know the ways of this bird a little better.  They have the most beautiful plumage and a very friendly disposition.  You only catch occasional glimpses of them in the wild although there are plenty of centres that now breed them.  To photograph them is a privilege.
