One on One Photography Training with Patrick
Since the beginning of this year Schtuff have been offering One on One Photography Training days at our Studio in Oxenholme Kendal. We were pleased to welcome back Patrick for his second day of training and, as we have done previously, we advertised on Facebook for a model to come in and work with us for the day. In case you are wondering none of the girls we have worked with and blogged on our website are professional models. So if you volunteer to work with us we will help and guide you with posing techniques, many of which we use in our Wedding Photography. On this occasion Jade came to the Schtuff Studio to model for this One on One Photography Training day for Patrick. If you are a ph0tographer wanting to improve your technique our One on One Training day is incredibly competitive. When I was being trained myself by some of the Uk’s leading photographers I would pay anything between £500 – £1000 for a day. We offer a days training including model for £200 which frankly is a bargain!

A day to remember. We spent a day at Holbeck Ghyll Hotel recently carrying out a commercial photoshoot with a Vintage theme. From this day and recent weddings we have photographed we now have a complete Vintage Wedding package we are able to offer. This includes Vintage Car(s), Vintage Venue Dressing, Vintage Hair & Make Up Styling and of course Vintage Processed Wedding Photography. If you have a real interest in this kind of look please give us a call and we will explain how it all works as we take the stress of organising everything away from you.

This was certainly a very different proposition from shooting weddings as I was commissioned to photograph HRH Prince Charles visit in Staveley, specifically to More Bakery. From a photographers viewpoint a different set of challenges as there is no opportunity to set up shots, you just have to be ready to take whatever photographs you can get. Of course Prince Charles is surrounded by many people on his visits some of whom you would not choose to argue with! His Press Secretary was very helpful however and with his assistance it proved to be a successful shoot. The Prince spent a lot of time with Patrick at More Bakery and was clearly impressed with what has been achieved there. Of course now having photographed Royalty all my prices for weddings have doubled. Just kidding.
